ANNUAL CONFERENCE CONSIDERATION OF NATIONAL AGREEMENT -.A. WELLINGTON. June 3. Day and night sittings throughout ne week-end marked the annual consrence of the council of the New Zeaand Tramways Employees’ Union, ,-hich concluded late last evening. In adition to the ordinary business, the aeeting had before it the oiler of a ational agreement made by the emiloying authorities as the outcome of ecent negotiations with union lepreentatives. The offer received exensive consideration by the meeting, nd a union statement on the position s expected this week. The meeting re-elected the retiring xecutive officers as follows:—Presient. Mr W. B. Richards (Dunedin); uce-president. Mr E. A. Whitlow Auckland); secretary and treasurer. At P. A. Hansen (Wellington).
