BIG GAINS IN SUPPLY A marked increase in the quantity of water stored in the city reservoirs occurred at the week-end. For the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Saturday the gain was 2,140,000 gallons, and the quantity in storage 75,546,000 gallons, for Sunday the gain was 2,860,000 gallons and the quantity in storage 78,406,000 gallons, and for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Monday the figures were 4,440,000 gallons and 82,846.000 gallons respectively. The gain for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. yesterday was 1.305,00 gallons, and the quantity in storage was 84,151,000 gallons. The rainfall recorded for the 24 hours up to 9 a.m. on Sunday was as follows:—Ross Creek O.lOin, Whare Fiat 0.09 in, Sullivan’s Dam O.llin.
