OFFICIAL SECRECY PIERCED Rec. 9.30 p.m. NEW YORK, May 29. In spite of efforts by local officials to maintain secrecy, the names of the seven white men charged with kidnapping Godwin Bush, a negro, from Northampton Gaol, Jackson, North Carolina, have been made public. The State solicitor, Mr Ernest Tyler, confirmed the list of names after journalists had obtained it from unofficial sources. • f . The United Pi;ess says that local residents make no secret of their resentment at the arrests and “ outside interference” by journalists and the FBI. Bush was taken from gaol last Friday in an apparent lynching attempt. but escaped and surrendered to the FBI.
