stock. She will also have on board 200 sheep, 20 bullocks, and 40 pigs for slaughtering purposes. This varied cargo of animals, which ranges from Clydesdale stallions to Rhode Island Red fowls, is for shipment to a French buyer in Tahiti. Among the 174 prize animals selected ft'om first-class breeders throughout New Zealand are two racing stallions, the thoroughbred Lord Coronach, and Arion’s Pride, a trotter.
The stock includes two Clydesdale stallions, 3 Merino rams, 120 fowls, 3 Hereford bulls, 3 Hereford heifers, 3 Aberdeen Angus bulls and 3 heifers. 3 Friesian bulls and 6 heifers, 5 Shorthorn bulls and 4 cows, 3 Jersey bulls and 6 heifers, 9 pigs and 2 first-class cattle dogs.
