INTERNATIONAL BOWLERS

There is every prospect that the New Zealand championship bowling tournament at Dunedin in January will have an international flavour about it. An inquiry has been received by Mr R. S. M. Sinclair, the secretary-elect of the Dominion Bowling Council, from a group of South Australian bowlers regarding their eligibility to compete in the championship tournament. The letter intimated that, subject to suitable shipping arrangements, there was a likelihood of some 20 or 30 visitors, including ladies, from South Australia making the trip. If the Canadian team proposing to visit the Dominion next season can arrange its schedule to be in Dunedin in January, and if the suggested tour of Australia and New Zealand bv British bowlers takes olace. much interest will be added‘to what promises to he a record tournament.
