ERINBOROUGH IN WORK Special to the Daily Times CHRISTCHURCH. May 28. Some of the Riccarton horses who are to race at the Dunedin meeting went south last nignt, and the others will travel to-night. The three-year-old Copper Coin, who made friends when she won .at Washdyke last Saturday, was intended for the Dunedin meeting, but E. Rosewarne has changed his plans. The filly, who is having a short rest, should continue to pay her way next season j. S. Shaw has started again on the big two-year-old 'Erinborough, by Defaulter. He has a good race record, with two wins and two seconds in five starts, and he should go on to even better form Hart Royal, who has been sold by Mr J B. Douglas Clifford, has been sent to Gore, where J. R. Cochrane will train him for Mr A. H. Perkins, of Mataura. Gold Nugget is the latest horse to join E. Rosewarne’s stable. He may be taken to Greymouth next month, to race over hurdles, but his form to date has not been good. Sir Tague has arrived here from the West Coast, and he will be trained by E. J Jennings. Montello d’Oro is back in V. A. Lee’s (♦am. He looks in good health, after spelling for six months. He will take on jumping races, and having won over hurdles at Geraldine in the spring, he may go on to good form. R. B. Robinson is breaking in two yearlings by Airway. One is a filly from Coalpit, and the other a gelding from Irish Treasure.
