JAPANESE WAR POTENTIAL TOKIO, May 22. The destruction of all Japanese equipment and war potential .in the 20,000 square miles of territory controlled by the British Commonwealth Occupation Force has now been completed, according to a report issued by BCOF headquarters at Kure. This week 300,000 rounds of small calibre anti-aircraft ammuntion were sunk in Japan’s Inland Sea. This represents the last target of any magnitude in the BCOF. The war materials found and destroyed ranged from midget submarines and 16in guns to hypodermic needles, narcotics, silver and foreign currency brought back to Japan by repatriates from the war theatres.
