PROSPECTS FOR TO-MORROW Special to the Daily* Times AUCKLAND,- May 8. The weather has been showery and the course at Te Rapa is sure to be heavy for the opening of the Waikato Racing Club’s winter meeting on Saturday. The fields are big and it is probable that the OtoHack Handicap and the Horotiu Hack Handicap will have to be run in divisions. Horses likely to find favour include:— 11 o Melville Hack and Hunters' Steeplechase —Bronze Night. Betterman. Silver Lighting Brown Duke Little Duke Scratchlngs Received Brantome was withdrawn from the Seddon Hurdles at 2.15 p m. to-day.
