RATIONS IN AUSTRALIA
NO REDUCTION CONTEMPLATED

Pollard, in the House of Representatives. Cabinet had decided against altering the meat, butter, and sugar rations because Australians in the lower income and large family groups were not able to sacrifice these basic foods and substitute more costly alternatives.
