If we fail to do the will of God, the will of God is done upon us. To be Continued Next Saturday. BRITISH ISRAEL WORLD FEDERATION (DUNEDIN BRANCH). Concerning God’s promises to Israel and the Jews. How can God’s promises of trouble, punishments, destructions, or all evil things refer to the natural Jews; and all His promises of blessings and good things refer to the modern " Christian ” Gentiles, and mean going up to Heaven at death—in view of the following questions and Scriptures? If "The city of the Lord, Zion,” is in Heaven for the Gentiles—why did God speak of it through Isaiah (60: 15-22) as — " The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall bow down at thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated . . . I will make thee an eternal excellency . . . thou shall suck the milk of the Gentiles . . . Violence . • wasting nor destruction .... no more ir, thy land . . . thy people shall be all righteous. they shall inherit the land for ever? " Is not the Jew the " afflicted, hated, despised ” people? As the Jew's land is “ the city of the Lord as the Gentiles are to bow down to them; they “ shall inherit the land for ever ” how can it mean Gentiles going to Heaven? How .can all the bad promises be for natural Jews and all the good promises be for Gentiles in Heaven—when God by Jeremiah (33: 5-11) said: “I will reveal unto them the abundance of peace ana truth And I vi'l cause the captivity ot Judah ar.d Israel to return .... 1 will cleanse them from iniquity . ’. . . pardon transgressors. It shall be a joy. a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth ... all the goodness and prosperity . . ■ joy and gladness. Does not this teach the restoration and blessing of Israel or the Jews to thenland—Palestine? If the Jews are utterly and eternally “ cast off,” and the Gentiles are the sole inheritors of God's blessings and promises, was God ignorant of it. when he caused Jeremiah to write: " I will gather them out of all countries. whither I have driven them . . I will bring them again to their place (Canaan or Palestine, where Jeremiah had just bought land), and I will cause them to dwell safely; and they shall be inv people, and I will be their God . . 'i will rejoice over them to do them good. I will plant them in this land . . so will I bring upon them all the good men shall buy fields for money in the land of Benjamin. Jeru-lem. Judah —modntains, valley . . . cities of south; for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the Lord.” Jer. 32: 37-42? Could this mean anybody else but natural Jews, and anywhere else but Canaan on earth. How can God's promise to Israel be abolished for ever, when He through Jeremiah (33: 17-25) said, “Thus saith the Lord: if mv covenant be not with day and night, then will I cast away the seed of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob: for I will cau s e their captivity to return? ” As God made " dav and night." the stars, etc.. He will keep His promises to the Jews Gen 13: 15; Zech 8: 23. 14: 9; Mica 4: 8 FREE ’’ BIBLE TRUTH ” LITERATURE. Apply Box 857, Dunedin. Questions invited: W. A.
