COMBINED BANDS’ DISPLAY
The combined city bands will give a display to-morrow commencing at 2.15 p.m., at the Caledonian ground. Mr K. G. L. Smith, the new conductor of the St Kilda band, will make his first appearance, and will conduct the combined bands in their opening number. A special attraction will be the quickstep display by the St. Kilda and Kaikorai bands. Other bands taking part are the Dunedin Highland Pipe, the Burns Pipe, the Dunedin Ladies, the Caversham, and the Ist Otago Regiment. Details are advertised.
