TUAPEKA MOUTH SALE
A small yarding was forward for the Tuapeka Mouth stock sale yesterday, consisting of lambs and two pens oi wethers. Competition was not brisk, and the one pen of ewes in the yard did not reach vendors’ reserve. The balance of the yarding was cleared at prices in the buyers' favour. Mixed-aged fine crossbred wethers brought to 23s 3d; small two and four-tooth wethers, to 21s; best Romney cross wether lambs, to 21s; medium, 15s to,. 17s 6d; culls, down to 8s 6d; medium ewe lambs, to 235; mixedsex culls, 13s; one-shear Romney rams, £2 2s to £3 3s; mixed-aged Romney rams. £1 Is to £3 13s fid.
