COAL FROM RUHR
AGREEMENT REPORTED THREE WESTERN POWERS Rec. 0.30 a.m. LONDON, Apl. 21. It is reliably reported that Britain, France, and the United States have signed a coal agreement, says Reuter’s Moscow correspondent. The agreement, the text of which will be published to-night, covers the export of Ruhr coal to France and other western European countries. It is believed to include a provision for a sliding scale between Ruhr coal production and exports to France and an arrangement by which France would obtain exclusive use of the Saar output.
