RITUAL MURDERS
DEATH SENTENCES COMMUTED Rec. 7 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 28. The Governor of the Gold Coast Legislative Council said that he had used his prerogative of mercy, and commuted the death sentence on the two natives not yet executed for ritual murders, to life imprisonment, reports Reuter’s Accra correspondent. Three other natives were hanged on March 24 before notice of appeal couid be lodged.
