GARDEN PARTY
The annuaUgarden party of the Presbyterian Women’s Training Institute was held in brilliant sunshine on Wednesday afternoon The beautiful grounds of the institute were at their best for the occasion. The guests were welcomed by Principle J. A. Allan, of the Theological Hall, who is convener of studies for the institute. A short musical programme was contributed by Mesdames D. C. Herron, Graveson and Truesdale, and Misses J. Irwin, B. Johnson and H.
Turner. The Rev, A. M. Elliffe, the convener of the Training Institute Committee, thanked the suoporters of the institute for their 'continued interest, making special mention of the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union. He also introduced the new principal, Miss E. A. Kerr, who, in responding, brought greetings from the P.W.M.U. of the Victorian Church. Afternoon tea was served in the grounds by members of the P.W.M.U.
