Ministerial The Postmaster-general, Mr Hackett, who is making his first tour of South Island post offices, is expected to arrive in Dunedin at the end of the week. The London correspondent of the New Zealand Press Association states that the Minister of Finance. Mr Nash, is now expected in London on Saturday. Mr J. I- Fraser, the newly-appointed chairman of tljfe Otago Education Board, was appointed at the monthly meeting of the board yesterday as the representative of the board on the Otago University Council in succession to the late Mr James Wallace. At the monthly meettng of the Kai-koral-Wakari Poultry, Pigeon, and Cage Bird Club, members stood as a mark of respect to the late Mr P, Findlay, a former patron of the club. Passengers who left by air for the north yesterday were:—Mr E. Bartley (Christchurch), Mr D. Glensor, Miss A. Gunn, Mrs A. N. Walden. Mr E. H. Wallace, Mr W. M. Norman, Mrs A.
