CLOUbY AND WARM Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing' 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation.—A ridge of high pressure covers New Zealand, and a depression over the North Tasman Sea is moving south. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Moder-ate north-easterly winds, with areas of fog or low cloud breaking during the morning, but weather otherwise fine and warm. Further Outlook. —Showery, especially in the coastal area. Weather in Dunedin.—Dunedin had another perfect summer day yesterday, with 11 hours 12 minutes sunshine recorded. The maximum temperature was 72.9 deg, minimum 52.0 deg, and grass minimum 58.5 deg. There was a light north-easterly wind. At midnight the barometer was steady at 30.05 in (1018 millibars).
