' ■ ..... ’’ Lupins,” Cromwell.—The most suitable time to sow lupin seed is towards the end of January or the beginning of February. The seed may be either sown in rows or broadcast. If sown in rows, they should be about seven inches apart. The seed should not be covered to a depth of two inches. Less than half that depth -is quite sufficient. The time for digging - in the. crop is in relation to the time of sowing, but it shoud always be dug in befofe the winter.
