Eggs: Payout for eggs received during week ended March 7, 1947: Heavy 2s lOd, standard 2s Bd, medium 2s 6d, pullet 2s Old. large duck 2s 8d (plus subsidy of 4d per dozen). Poultry: At this week's sale the following prices were realised—White Leghorn hens 3s to 6s, heavy breeds 8s to 10s, cockerels, light 3s to 6s, heavy breeds 10s to 11s, roosters, light 3s to 6s, heavy 5s to 7s (all at per pair); turkey hens, Is 2cf to Is 6d per lb, gobblers to Is 8d per lb live weight; ducks 4s to 7s per pair.
