FAIR WITH COOL TEMPERATURES Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation.—Anti-cyclones are centred over the Eastern Tasman and south of the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Lisht to moderate and vaiiable winds, with some occasional drizzle early this morning; weather fair to cloudy this afternoon; temperatures cool. Weather In Dunedin. —A fairly heavy drizzle set in about mid-day yesterday, and up to 5 p.m., when the rain had ceased, 0.07 in had been recorded. Only 2hr 12min of sunshine were registered, and the maximum temperature was 59.1 deg. The air minimum was 51.5 and the grass minimum 34.3. There was a light wind from the south-west. The barometer rose steadily during the afternoon, and at midnight the reading was 30.36 in (1028 millibars).
