MAORI HOME FANCIED GLENGARRY IN THE STAKES Special to Dally Times INVERCARGILL, Feb. 28. Although the weather has been overcast and light rain fell to-day it is not likely to affect track conditions for the Invercargill Trotting Club’s meeting to-morrow. The fields are on the big side, and two events will be run in divisions. Most interest is being shown in the decision of the Southland Three-Year-Old Stakes, which has drawn an excellent field of 16 juvenile pacers, and the favourites will probably be Glengarry, Novelda, and Keymaster.
