CLEARANCE OF WOOL

’ CHRISTCHURCH SALE OFFICIAL PRICE RANGE ; P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 28. The official report of the third Christ- ; church wool sale states that 24,810 bales of ' new season's wool and 978 bales of new ] season’s slipe wool were presented. The | offering includes some good fine-quality | wools, and was well up to the usual j standard. Competition was keen, and ! prices for fine quality wools were gener- ! ally firm to a little dearer than in JanuI ary. Medium qualities, especially the lower grades, were easier, but less than 4 per cent, of the whole offering was taken over by the New Zealand Wool Disposal Commission.
