BILLY PEACH SUCCESSFUL (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 5. The weather was fine and the track in good order for the second day of the Stratford Racing Club’s summer meeting yesterday. There was a large crowd and the totalisator handled £73,534, compared with £37.390 last year. The total for the meeting was £137,340, compared with £124,897 10s last year. After the Ohura Hurdles W. J. Sklfflngton was suspended for one month for his handling of Peter’s Choice. After the Midhurst Juvenile Handicap C. B. Goulsbro. the rider of Ballavfew, was suspended for six months for the handling of his mount. The following were the results:— OHURA HURDLE HANDICAP.
