BRITISH MOTOR FACTORY BONUSES FOR PUNCTUALITY (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 2 Notices were posted* at the Austin Motor Company's Birmingham factory yesterday telling the 17,000 employees that their demand for a five-day week had been accepted, beginning on January 6. The firm is also offering “ good time-keeping ’ bonuses. If they clock in on time each day, the men will get an extra 3s a week and women and boys Is 6d.
