FAIR TO CLOUDY AND MILD Forecast for Otago. The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation.—An anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, and there is a deep depression south of Tasmania. Forecast to- 5 p.m. To-day.—Mode-rate northerly w'inds; weather fair to cloudy and mild. Further Outlook.—Fair to cloudy and warm. Weather in Dunedin.—Pleasant weathei was experienced in Dunedin yesterday, with mild temperatures and bright sunshine. .In the morning there was a light westerly breeze, which -later in the day changed to a cool north-easterly. Ten hours of sunshine were recorded, and the highest temperature was 61.6 degrees. The air minimum -was 44.9, and the lowest grass reading was 40.6. The barometer remained steady, and at midnight the reading was 29.82 inches (1010 millibars).
