PROSPECTS FOR SECOND DAY
(Special.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 1. The weather is settled, and fine conditions should again prevail for the second day of the Wairarapa Racing Club's summer meeting at Tauherenikau tomorrow. The track will be in fast condition. Betting is win and place, and the following horses will be in demand:— 11.0: Pirinoa Stakes.—Lord Holland. Beau Son, Sunshine Bay. 11.45: Featlierston Handicap.—Lady Delight, King of Quiz, Glen Urquhart. 12.30: Moroa High-weight Handicap.— Hasten, True Friend, Superium. 1.15 p.m.: President’s Handicap.—Lowry Bay, Barrage, Dileas. 2.0: Kaiwaiwai Handicap.—Aratucky. Paper Ruffle, Robinette. 2.45: Greytown Handicap.—Mesalliance, Rosswood, Master Raymond. 3.30: Donald Handicap.—Coiopler, Sir Wina, Blue Bonny. 4.15: Wailienga Handicap.—Lady Delight, Gay Sport, Malanul.
