INQUIRIES HELD

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 30. Before the running of the Fergusson Handicap on the second day of the Auckland Racing Club's summer meeting at Ellerslie to-day an inquiry was opened into the eligibility of Gold Watch to run in hack races. The inquiry was adjourned to enable Mr E. N. Fitzgerald, owner of Gold Watch, to be present. After an inquiry into the falling of Moliie Bon and Laddie Boy in the Christmas Handicap on the first day, it was found to be accidental. I. Galvin, rider of Ninnid in the Criterion Handicap, was suspended for a month for interference with Foxbay.
