CHAMPION WHIPPETS

LUCKY PADS SUCCESSFUL MEETING AT ABBOTSFORD Lucky Pads, owned by Messrs Samson Bros., of Dunedin, was the winner of the principal open event at the Fernhill Whippet Racing Club's meeting at Abbotsford yesterday, defeating a field which included Kid Wolf, a winner of three free-for-alls and three open events, and Bambi, the local champion, which took second and third places.
