SILVER ANNIVERSARY

ST. KILDA LADIES’ BOWLING CLUB The St. Kilda Ladies’ Bowling Club celebrated its silver anniversary last Monday afternoon when a large number of past and present members, including some of the foundation members, gathered at the Highcliff Cafe. One of the guests of honour was Mrs Leeden, the first treasurer, and the first president, Mrs Donald Stuart, cut the birthday cake. Sprays of flowers were presented to the foundation members by Mrs W. Wright, president, who also proposed a toast in their honour. The celebrations concluded with an evening picture party.
