GRAND THEATRE

A French murder story in which a murderer builds himself an alibi with the aid of an innocent girl is told in "Alibi,” the main attraction in the current programme at the Grand Theatre. Tne story has been filmed before, with Eric von Stronheim in the role of Professor Winkler, now cleverly portrayed by Raymond Lovell. Associated with Lovell in the starring roles are Margaret Lockwood and James Mason. A Yorkshire comedy, “ When We Are Married,” taken from a J. B. Priestley play, supplies in full measure the necessary humour. Raymond' Huntley, Marian Spencer, Lydia Sherwood, Barry Morse and Lesley Brookes are in the featured roles.
