SAFETY FIRST
BRITAIN’S AIR POLICY (Rec, 11 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 22. The Minister of Civil Aviation, Lord Nathan, said at a press conference that his first and most important objective in commercial aviation was safety.
Others were regularity, comfort and speed in that order. He added that he favoured publishing full reports of inquiries into civil air accidents and did not exclude the possiblty of holding such inquiries publicly if they served a useful purpose.
