POPULAR EXHIBITION

“BRITAIN CAN MAKE IT” HALF MILLION VISITORS LONDON, Oct. 20. Over 18,000 daily visited the “ Britain Can Make It ” exhibition. The organisers to-day welcomed the five-hun-dred-thousandth visitor, who arrived as a member of a nine-deep queue stretching for 600 yards. He was a school teacher who wanted to see the exhibition yesterday, but gave up when he saw the queue and returned to-day. He was presented with a new radio set in a modern plastic cabinet, one of the many products which Britain can make> but which Britons can’t yet buy.
