STRIKE ORDERED
AMERICAN PILOTS IN EUROPE WASHINGTON, ' (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) Oct. 21. The Airline Pilots’ Association has issued instructions to all pilots of the Transcontinental and Western Airline Company, which operates European domestic services, to strike to-day. The pilots are seeking a minimum salary of 15,300 dollars annually Four hundred of the company’s 1400 pilots operate four-engined aircraft like the Constellations.
