NAVY LEAGUE SEA CADETS
MORE RECRUITS REQUIRED
"At the present time we are passing through a critical period, really the aftermath of the war” said Lieutenant rommander G. Robb, of the iNavy League Sea Cadets, when referring at the annual meeting of the Otag Branch of the Navy League to the activitics of the Sea Cadets. Mr Robb said that the strength ot the Otago Division of the Navy League Sea Cadets consisted of five officer? and 60 cadets, which had been its strength since its inception, m June. 1038 The speaker added that the division however, was not getting as many recruits as it would like, but that applied to every other organisation in the citv During the next 12 months he believed the position would be rectified but he assured the membeis that the strength of the Otago Division would be maintained. R ,, Lieutenant-commander Kobo sant that in England the sea cadets hac attained the status of the Royal Sea Cadet Corps, and in Canada they were known as the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps. He hoped that before, long they would have the Royal New Zealand Sea Cadet Corps.
