CAULFIELD CUP
ACCEPTORS ANNOUNCED MELBOURNE, Oct. 10. Although 36 horses accepted to-day for the Caulfield Cup, the Victoria Turf Club Committee met Immediately and reduced the field to the safety limit of 28, which is equal to that when Counsel won in 1944 and Uncle Sam in 1912. The field is as follows - —Bernborough 10.10, Flight 9.4, Attley 9.3, Magnificent, Royal Gem 9.0, Four Freedoms, Gayland 8.12, Valcurl 8.10, Chaytor 8.9, First In, Leonard 8.3, Victory Lad 8.6, Noble Prince 8.4, Columnist 7.13, Blacklaw, Logical, Sirdar 7 3, Carey 7.8, Comedy Call 7.7, Antares 7.5, Ardull, Fungi, Riot, Two Grand 7.3, Baffin Bay 7.2, Marocain 7.0, Anstey 6.12, Chief Pilot 6.9.
