(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 31 India scored 469 for five wickets against Middlesex at Lords (Hazare not out 193, Mankad not out 109, Modi 80). Hazare and Mankad treated the bowling mercilessly and so far have added 226 for the sixth wicket. Every man except the wicketkeeper bowled for Middlesex.
