SWEDEN AND RUSSIA AMERICA LODGES PROTEST (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 31. The United States has sent a Note to .• Russia and Sweden protesting against the proposed trade agreement under which Sweden will extend for five years a 278,500,000 dollar credit to Russia, reports the Herald-Tribune’s Stockholm correspondent. The Note states that the United Nations contemplate calling a world economic conference in. 1947, and it hoped that Russia and Sweden would not make any bilateral agreement imperilling multilateral world trade.
