Described as a ” love-and-laugh riot, “ Men in Her Diary,” starring Peggy Ryan, Jon Hall and Louise Allbritton. is the main attraction In yesterday’s new double-feature programme at the Strand Theatre. Handsome Mr Hall Is the husband who runs into difficulties because he failed to investigate the literary bent of his secretarial staff. The eternal triangle becomes a quadrangle when a misunderstood husband, a jealous wife, an over-imaginative secretary, and the secretary’s diarv become mixed up In a hopeless tangle. The drama behind the scenes in the lives of three doctors is responsible for most of the thrills in the supporting picture, “ Forever Yours,” with Gale Storm in the title role, assisted by Sir Aubrey Smith, John Mack Brown. Frans Craven and Mary Boland in the principal roles.
