POLAND AFFRONTED
NOTE FROM UNITED. STATES SOVEREIGNTY INFRINGED WASHINGTON, (Rec. B.SO p.m.) Aug. 27. The Polish Embassy, m a statement, has protested that the United States Note of August 19 constituted infringements of Poland’s sovereign rights and interference with her internal affairs. The United States Note alleged irregularities and discrimination in the Polish referendum of June 30, and stated the American view of essentials for holding free elections in Poland in November.
