..OTAGO TEAM ANNOUNCED The selectors (Messrs B. Collie, V. G. Cavanagh, jun., and W. Duncan) have announced the following team to represent Otago in the match against Canterbury at Carisbrook on Saturday:— Full-back, W. I. Perriam (Pirates). Three-quarters—l. J. Botting •„( University A), A. Howley (Southern), G. J. Moore (University A). Five-eighths, A. H. Ingram (Training College, second), D. Murdoch (Kaikorai, first). / Half-back. J. Haig (Kaikorai). Front-row—L. Connolly (Dunedin), G. D. Gordon (University A), T. Wallace (Southern). Middle-row.—J. McNab (South Otago), C. Wiliocks (South Otago), D. R. Sapsford (Pirates), A. E. Hellyer (Zingart-Rich-mond). Back-row, K. J. O'Connor (University A). Reserves. Backs, L. Woodhouse (Southern), E. Collins (Dunedin); forwards, P. Johnstone (Taierl), E. Wallace (Dunedin). I The team will meet at Carisbrook at 7.15 to-morrow night for a team talk. R. R. Elvidge (University A), C. Todd (Dunedin), and L. Aitken (Kaikorai) were not available.
The following changes in the Canterbury team to play Otago were announced by the Canterbury Rugby Union:—H Sturrock replaces B. Miles, C. Rowlands replaces G. Drummond,, and T. Jackson is selected as emergency. Curtain-raiser
As a curtain-raiser to the principal match teams representing the referees’ associations of the two provinces will meet. The box plan for the matches is open at' Begg’s. and official guides will be on sale as usual.
