Sir, —X can heartily endorse the remarks of “ Interested ” in your issue of the Daily Times of to-day. Not only are the courts in a shocking condition, but the surrounding grounds are so much overgrown with broom and grass that the players must lose quite a number of balls during the season—a loss which few of them could afford too often. If the Mayor considers the courts are an asset to the town it is time something was done to make them so.—l am, etc., Roxburgh, August 14. Observant.
