Colonel D. D. McCarthy, of No. 1 General Hospital. Nairobi, East Africa, who has been visiting Dunedin on short leave, left by the express on Tuesday morning on his return journey. Principal A. L. Haddon, of the Churches of Christ College, will leave on Tuesday for Auckland whence he will proceed by plane to Australia to attend the centennial conference of the Churches of Christ at Adelaide. He expects to be absent from Dunedin for a month. Passengers who left by air for the north yesterday were: Mr S. Tall, Mr W. Hazlett. and Mr J. O'Brien for Christchurch, Mr G. Nelson, Mrs J. McLean. Mr W. Anderson. Mrs W. Janieson, Mr G F Booth Mrs D. Rosenblum, Mr and Mrs P. Dymond. Mr S. T. Barnett, Mrs N. Martin, and Mrs R. Simpson. Those who arrived from the north were: Mrs L. Impey, Mrs Yardley, Mrs M. E. Moore from Auckland, Mr A. F. Sandford. Miss I. M. Welsh, Dr Murphy Mr N. G. Allen Mr H. J. Luff, Mr T. Lock, Mr D U Wood, and Mr J. H. O'Donnell from Wellington, Mr F. Woodward, Miss M. Hollo wav Mr A. Barnett, and Mrs L. R. Blake from Christchurch Passengers for the south were: Miss C. L Barclay, Miss N Barclay, Mr and Mrs A L. Marshall, Mr J- H. O'Donnell, Mr F. Lock. Mr D. H Wood, Mrs I. Welch, Mr and Mrs W. jolly and Mr F. Woodward
