OTAGO ASSOCIATION
At the fortnightly meeting of the Otago Hockey Association held last night. Mr A. C. Barnes occupied the chair The chairman, as manager of the Otago Hockey team which played the Southland Representative team at Invercargill on August 3, reported on the match. It was decided to forward a letter of thanks to the Southland Association for the hospitality extended to the Otago players. Mr Barnes also reported on the senior seven-a-slde tournament and congratulated the Training College A team on its win.
It was decided to invite a Southland primary schools' team, together with the senior and junior teams, to play representative matches at Dunedin on September 14.
