Majestic Theatre.—" Johnny Angel," a thrilling combination of romance and intrigue, will commence its season to-night. The story, covering a sequence of colourful action-packed New Orleans days and nights, features George Raft, Claire Trevor and Signe Hasso.
Opera House.—" Penny Serenade," an intriguing story of a reporter's life in Tokio and later in Central California, with Irene Dunne and Cary Grant in the main roles, will commence its season to-night at the Opera House. Included in the supports are "Fishing In Hawaii,” a Sports Thrill, and cartoon, “ Kitty Gets the Bird.”
