MRS B. HOST IN UGANDA ” On Safari with Hemingway and Hollywood ” will be the title of a book by Mrs B. Host, which will be published shortly in New York. Mrs Host, who is the daughter of the late Mr H. G. Siedeberg and Mrs Siedeberg, of Dunedin, has been living in Uganda for the past year and has now taken up residence in Nairobi, Kenya While in Uganda she accepted an offer to act as secretary and continuity reporter. to a film company which was engaged in taking animal ” shots ” for a film based on Ernest Hemingway’s “ Short and Happy Life of Francis Macomber.” Mrs Host has recorded her experiences during the expedition and hopes to have her work published in book form to coincide with the release of the picture from Hollywood Early in this year Mrs Siedeberg joined her daughter in East Africa and in June left for England. She expects to return to New Zealand next year.
