PATIENT FATALLY INJURED (P.A.) NAPIER, Aug. 12. When a sling erected over the bed to facilitate the patient being lifted broke, Agnes McAlister, a widow of Napier, aged 84, who had been bed-ridden for several years, fell to the floor, receiving fatal head injuries. An inquest was held yesterday, the coroner, Mr J. Miller, S.M., returning a verdict that death was due to accidental injuries, no blame being attachable to anyone.
