PRESS TO BE ADMITTED

ALL COMMITTEE MEETINGS (Rec. 7 p.m.) PARIS, Aug. 10. The Plenary Session of the Paris conference decided that the press should be admitted to committee meetings as well as plenary sessions. M. Bidault agreed to remain in the chair for three more days as the first of the “ Big Five ” conference presidents acting in rotation. A message from London says that, before leaving for Paris by air Mr Bevin said: “It is necessary to stop talking and to get on with the job.’’ Mr Bevin appeared pale and unsmiling, and he was accompanied by Mrs Bevin and his medical adviser.
