COASTWISE MOVEMENTS Kakapo, with the Katui in tow, is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Dunedin. The vessels are expected to reach here on Monday. Port Waikato is due here on Monday from Wellington and will load for Wellington direct. Holmdale is due here from Wellington on Tuesday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. , * * , Piri is expected to arrive at Port Chalmers on August 14 from Auckland with a cargo of explosives. SAMCALIA AWAY Samcalia (Dalgety and Co.) sailed yesterday for Wellington and Auckland to continue loading U.N.R.R.A. supplies for Port Said COLLIERS BAR-BOUND (P.A.) GREYMOUTH, Aug. 9. The Kiwitea. which had been diverted tc Greymouth to load urgently-required gas coal for the North Island, took advantage of a brief lull in the rough seas at the harbour entrance to enter the port. Nv sooner had she berthed than boisterous seas again whipped up when the vwna changed to a north-westerly direction and effectively barred the departure of the Poolta and the Holmlea. which have been bar-bound in the port for the past eight days.
