CITY MILK SUPPLY

SATISFACTORY POSITION EFFECTS OF GOOD WEATHER *• Supplies of milk for Dunedin are still coming forward in sufficient quantity to meet the general demand for household purposes,” said Mr. J W. Wilson, secretary of the Dunedin Milk Vendors’ Association, to a Daily Times reporter yesterday. Mr Wison added that for the first time for some years, it had not been necessary to ration milk during the winter months, this fortunate position being largely due to the favourable weather that had been experienced from a milk production point of view The supply of milk for schools which has been in abeyance for a shorter period than usual this winter has not yet been renewed, but the next fortnight should see enough milk coming forward to supply schools as well as household requirements.
