AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP The second round ot the amateur billiards championship of Otago, conducted by the Otago Billiards Association, was continued last night. Following are the tesults:—H. Paterson defeated J Pearce 500 to 303 (best breaks: Paterson 28, 27, 26 21; Pearce 25. 23). The second game resulted in a win for L. Napper. who beat W. Turner 500 to 293 (best breaks: Napper 50 47. 36. 29 25: Turner 26. 21, 20). The first game on Monday night at 6.4.-> between J. McLaughlin, of Mosgiel, and C. Procter, will complete the second round. The second game at 8.30 is the first semifinal between the present champion, A. Sudduck. and H. Paterson.
